We will go through one of the best ski resorts in Hokkaido and the best snow in the world. We will locate you in Furano town, in our private lodge, Yukiumi Furano, a cozy Japanese-style house operated by our own staff. Far from queues, closer to the deepest! We've chosen this place as it provides the deepest and easiest access terrain. We will go all around and further of what Furano Resort has to offer. 1 day trip to Asahidake, the highest mountain in Hokkaido, and 1 day trip to Tokachidake, known for its super deep snow and natural hot springs. This will become one of the most memorable trips of your life, as the snow, culture and food you are going to experience will exceed your expectations.

Tour Diary

  • We like to wake up early and have a good breakfast. While making a morning briefing we will decide where we will go.
  • Riding time! That is why we are here! Let's enjoy and be safe.
  • Go to the onsen! Nothing better than the Japanese hot springs to recover the tired body.
  • Dinner at yukiumi house or outside. Ready to sleep and ride again.

Weather Reports

Our team it's always tracking the forecast, the snow stability and the mountain conditions to ensure we are having a safe day on the mountain. We will make sure to adequate terrain to the group level and to keep safety as 1st priority in the backcountry. During dinner time, our best choices would be discussed within the group and in the morning last decisions would be taken according to the weather situation.

Ability

Good riding skills on all types of slopes are required. Beginners in the backcountry are welcome to take their first steps with us, just as highly skilled riders are totally welcome too. Groups will be formed based on the level of each rider. Join the tour as the terrain can be from beginners to experts.

Equipment

Self equipment as touring gear, touring skis, splitboard or snowshoes, are the preferable option. Safety equipment is required. In terms of skis/snowboard, we recommend a wide and large set-up as we are going to go through the deepest snow.
