Wetsuits & Cold-Water Protection

August – September: 3/2mm wetsuit for milder water temps.
October – December: 5/4mm or 6/5mm wetsuit with hood, gloves, and booties.
Thermal rash guard & layering options for extra warmth.

Boards & Equipment

Mid-lengths & longboards work well for Hiroo’s smooth, peeling waves.
Shortboards & step-ups are ideal for Erimo’s powerful reef breaks.
High-volume boards help with extra paddle power in cold, dense water.
